Our services

We provide professional legal guardianship and support for people in complex life situations – reliable, structured, and professionally guided.

We provide legal guardianship and represent the people we support in dealings with authorities, courts, insurers, and other institutions – clearly, transparently, and reliably.

We coordinate with social services, clinics, counselling centres, and institutions, ensuring consistent collaboration through regular communication.

We support medical decision-making, help organise necessary measures, and accompany treatment-related consent processes in close coordination with professionals.

We assist with account handling, payments, and debt restructuring to build financial stability and develop sustainable long-term solutions.

We help secure housing, support relocations, and coordinate with housing or care facilities – with stability and safety as the priority.

In challenging cases – such as psychiatric conditions, substance-related disorders, or severe social crises – we work respectfully, structured, and with experience.

Areas of focus

A key focus of our work is supporting severely traumatised refugees. We work in a trauma-informed way and closely coordinate with therapeutic, medical, and social professionals.

We support the people we work with across languages and cultural contexts so that decisions remain understandable and support can be accessed effectively.

In particularly demanding situations, we create structure, coordinate stakeholders, and work together on realistic next steps.

Establishing and process

1

First contact & getting to know you

We discuss the situation, the support needed and whether legal guardianship seems appropriate.

2

Application to the guardianship authority (in your district)

The guardianship authority reviews the need, collects documents (e.g. medical statements) and prepares the application for the guardianship court.

3

Court proceedings & appointment

The guardianship court hears the person concerned and decides on the guardianship. If family guardianship or a guardianship association is not possible, the court appoints a professional guardian.

4

Individual support & coordination

We take on the agreed areas of responsibility (e.g. financial matters or health care) and coordinate closely with the person under guardianship, their relatives and other parties involved.

5

Review & possible termination

The court reviews the guardianship on a regular basis. If it is no longer required, it can be adjusted or terminated.

Guardianship can be time-limited or long-term, depending on individual needs.
